NIR Near-IR Achromatic Lens
Achromatic lens consists of convex and concave lenses, which are two kinds of glasses with different optical properties. Convex lens is usually made of coronal glass with low refractive index and high dispersion ability, while concave lens is made of Flint glass with high refractive index and low dispersion ability. Achromatic lenses are very common type of viewer lenses, widely used in objective lens system, imaging system, laser measurement system.
For high-quality achromatic lenses, the cementing accuracy requirement is strict and the two lenses must be completely coaxial, which requires professional laser calibration instruments. Before cementing, technicians use an ultraviolet photophore to illuminate the optical lens combination that has been accurately calibrated to the best position. The cementing process is fast and accurate, without displacement.
