Calcium Fluoride is an optical grade glass which has an extensive transmision range from UV, visiable and IR. Especially, has a high transmittance from 200nm to 7μm. The transmittance of uncoated caf2 window can up to 94% due to its low absorption and low index of refraction. Currently, caf2 is widely used in UV and IR applications .
